Boenicke Audio was founded in 1998. Against the overwhelming number of brands in today’s hifi market (some say 20,000 worldwide!), we’ve closely scrutinised each of our products by asking ourselves, “does anyone really need this?” So we have grown Boenicke Audio slowly and organically. We don’t focus on number of sales but product quality and relevance.

W5

This little beast of a bass driver is capable of 16 mm linear excursion. You have to hear to believe how much punchy bass it can generate from a 2.8 L volume. Custom-made spring suspension effectively isolates W5 from your desktop, improving midrange lucidity, airiness and distortion figures.

Walk around the speakers and you still get it all: Our miniature ambient tweeter features an excellent off-axis response. For this reason, the W5 has an excellent polar diagram – which is crucial for breathtaking sound staging capabilities.

Boenicke W22

The W22 project started in 2020 on the occasion of BOENICKE‘s 22nd anniversary.

This playback instrument represents the culmination of our current in-house expertise with creating very distinctive signature loudspeakers.

Hence it incorporates a number of unique features found exclusively in this model.

Accoya or Mahogany solid-wood enclosure with customer-selectable solid wood side panels on proprietary Swing Base flotation.
Furutech FT-816 speaker terminals.

Duelund Tinned Copper Pio Cast and Audio Consulting custom-made bypass tweeter capacitor.
