What LEWITT microphone do I need?
First, you should ask yourself what you want to record.
Look at the list below and find your new mic. These are our recommendations.
Microphones for recording vocals.
If you want to record vocals, your typical choice should be a condenser microphone.
This transducer technology captures lots of details and is very sensitive to your voice. All details of your voice, even when you sing or speak at low volumes, can be captured effortlessly.
Here is a small list of recommended microphones from our product line. Their sound was designed to capture your voice with lots of details and high clarity. If you move closer to the mic, your voice sounds fuller and bigger.

Microphones for recording acoustic guitar
You can choose any condenser microphone to record acoustic guitars. There is a difference in sound when you choose a small capsule.
A small capsule reacts faster to specific sound characteristics acoustic instruments make when they start producing a tone (transients). As a result, small diaphragm condenser microphones capture your acoustic instrument more accurately.
A large diaphragm condenser microphone tends to add body and warmth to your sound. This can be useful when the acoustic guitar is the main instrument in your song.
Both work well and provide high-quality recordings; they just sound different.

Microphones for recording electric guitar
You typically mic up guitar amplifiers with a dynamic microphone onstage.
For the professional or home studio, you add a condenser mic to bring in extra details, but there is nothing wrong with just using a single mic.
It can either be dynamic or condenser.
A dynamic mic is less sensitive to surrounding noise. It is easier to handle because its frequency response reacts well to the frequencies of the electric guitar. A condenser capsule captures more details.

Microphones for YouTube, Podcasts, and Streaming
The human voice is the most memorable sound for us humans. If you record your voice, it is extremely important to take good care of the audio quality.
Maybe not everybody’s ear is trained to be able to point out why something sounds good or not. But unknowingly sound quality heavily influences how long we can concentrate on something, e.g. your podcast or video. It is hard to watch a movie with bad video quality, but it is unbearable if the audio sounds off or distorted.
