Preamplifiers | DACs

Director Mk2

The all new high voltage digital to analog converter now supports 32 bit and sample rates up to 768kHz as well as DSD4. Fans of analog tape machines or external audio processing can insert their beloved gear in the Tape Monitor loop. Now there is a total of six analog inputs. Two of which are balanced with XLR connectors. The housing has grown in height to provide space for the big aluminum volume control with marker LED and two mechanical VU meters.

Elector

The Elector is based on the Director Mk2 and designed as a pure analog preamplifier. It features a total of six analog inputs. Three of which are balanced with XLR connectors. The Elector is equipped with the big remote controllable aluminum volume control with marker LED and two mechanical VU meters. External audio processors or analog tape machines can be inserted in the Tape Monitor loop.

Phonos

Phonos is a preamplifier for record players using either moving magnet (MM) or moving coil (MC) cartridges. The equalization curve is according to RIAA and suitable for all vinyl records since 1954. This phono preamplifier is equipped with the best sounding capacitors and built after the legendäre Douglas Self design.

Phonitor xe

The Phonitor xe is the ultimate standalone device for headphone enthusiasts who want the perfect solution without any compromises. The Phonitor xe is the first Phonitor headphone amplifier which can be equipped with the brand-new DAC768.

Phonitor x

The Phonitor x is the ultimate headphone amplifier. Thanks to VOLTAiR technology it powers headphones operated both balanced and unbalanced playfully with up to 3.7 W.

Phonitor e

Our Phonitor headphone amplifiers found a huge fan base among Hi-Fi enthusiasts. The Phonitor e comprises the most essential functions and features in a slim and beautiful housing.

Phonitor se

The Phonitor se has the same audio signal amplification as its bigger brothers Phonitor x and Phonitor xe and therefore offers the same sound experience. The DAC768xs is optionally available.

Power Amplifiers & Crossovers

Performer m1000

Built as a mono block it features SPL’s proprietary VOLTAiR technology that allows creating power amps with far less components in the signal path than common designs. Only one preamplifier op-amp is required to drive the bipolar power amplifier transistors: extremely fast, direct, highly efficient and with an extraordinary sound.

Performer s800

Thanks to the VOLTAiR technology the Performer s800 needs far less components in the signal path than common power amplifiers. The preamplifier can directly drive the bipolar power amplifier transistors. Extremely fast, direct, highly efficient and with an extraordinary sound.

Crossover

You can tune crossover frequencies and phase response all in the analog domain in real time with real switches and controls. And –of course– with SPL’s unique VOLTAiR technology. That means headroom, dynamic range and real sound in abundance.
